1. Introduction

Welcome to Maison Terraē ("Maison Terraē", "we", "our", or "us"). Maison Terraē Handicraft Works is a company registered and licensed in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating a ceramic and pottery studio located at Goshi Warehouse City, Al Quoz 3, Warehouse 128, Dubai, UAE.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.maisonterrae.com (the "Site"), as well as your participation in any classes, workshops, events, and the purchase of gift cards offered by Maison Terraē.

By accessing our Site, making a booking, or purchasing a gift card, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Services

Maison Terraē offers the following services:

a) Ceramic Classes: Instructor-led pottery and ceramic sessions, including but not limited to handbuilding, wheel throwing, sculpture, and paint on ceramics, for all skill levels.

b) Creative Workshops: Themed and seasonal hands-on ceramic workshops for individuals and groups.

c) Private Events: Customized ceramic experiences for birthday parties, celebrations, and private gatherings hosted at our studio.

d) Corporate Team Building: Tailored group ceramic sessions designed for corporate teams, team bonding, and professional development activities.

e) Gift Cards: Prepaid gift cards that may be redeemed towards any of the above services, subject to the terms outlined in Section 6 below.

All services take place at our studio premises in Goshi warehouse city, Dubai, unless otherwise communicated in writing.

3. Bookings & Payments

3.1 Booking Confirmation

All bookings made through the Site (www.maisonterrae.com) are confirmed upon receipt of full payment at the time of checkout. A booking is not secured until payment has been successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email upon completion of your booking. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of your booking details, including the date, time, and type of class or event.

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment gateway powered by Stripe. All prices are listed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Pricing

Maison Terraē reserves the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice. However, any price changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and paid for.

3.4 Arrival & Punctuality

Participants are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time, as classes and workshops operate on a fixed schedule and cannot be extended. No partial refund or credit will be issued for time missed due to late arrival.

4. Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

4.1 No Refunds

All sales are final. Once payment is received, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This applies to all services, including classes, workshops, private events, corporate team building sessions, and gift cards. However, all bookings are reschedulable within twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, subject to availability (see Section 4.2 below).

4.2 Rescheduling

All bookings may be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session for any reason, you may reschedule your booking to any available date and time, subject to the following conditions:

a) Validity Period: Rescheduled bookings must be used within twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase. After this period, the booking will expire and no further rescheduling or credit will be available.

b) Subject to Availability: All rescheduled sessions are subject to availability. Maison Terraē does not guarantee that your preferred date or time will be available.

c) Same or Higher Value: Rescheduled bookings must be for a service of equal or higher value. If the new session is of higher value, the difference must be paid at the time of rebooking. No credit or refund will be issued if the new session is of lower value.

d) How to Reschedule: To reschedule a booking, please contact us via WhatsApp at +971542790504. Rescheduling requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.3 No-Show

If you fail to attend your scheduled session without prior notice, your booking will still be reschedulable within the 12-month validity period as described in Section 4.2. However, Maison Terraē is under no obligation to remind you of upcoming bookings.

4.4 Cancellation by Maison Terraē

Maison Terraē reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class, workshop, or event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor unavailability, insufficient enrollment, adverse weather conditions, or force majeure events. In such cases, you will be offered a rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time. If Maison Terraē cancels a session and is unable to offer a suitable alternative within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

5. Participation & Safety

5.1 Age Requirements

Participants under the age of 18 ("Minors") must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the session. The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the minor's behavior, safety, and supervision throughout the duration of the activity. Maison Terraē reserves the right to refuse entry to unaccompanied minors. By booking a session for a minor, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.

5.2 Assumption of Risk

Participation in pottery and ceramic activities involves the use of tools, equipment, and materials that may pose certain risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, and allergic reactions. By participating in any Maison Terraē activity, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that Maison Terraē, its owners, employees, and instructors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during your participation, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.

5.3 Studio Conduct

Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by our staff and to treat fellow participants, instructors, and the studio environment with respect. Maison Terraē reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

5.4 Personal Belongings & Clothing

Maison Terraē is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into the studio. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, as clay, glazes, and other materials used during sessions may cause permanent stains. Aprons are provided but do not guarantee full protection of clothing.

6. Gift Cards

6.1 Validity

Gift cards purchased through the Site or in-studio are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. After the expiration date, the gift card will have no remaining value and cannot be redeemed, extended, or refunded.

6.2 Redemption

Gift cards may be redeemed towards any class, workshop, or event offered by Maison Terraē, subject to availability. If the value of the service exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid by the recipient at the time of booking. No change, credit, or refund will be given for any unused balance.

6.3 Non-Refundable

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.

7. Session Packages

7.1 Available Packages

Maison Terraē offers multi-session packages of 4, 6, or 10 sessions. Each session within a package may be used for either handbuilding or wheel throwing, at the holder's choice, subject to availability.

7.2 Single-Person Use Only

Session packages are strictly personal and non-transferable. All sessions within a package must be used by the same individual whose name is registered at the time of purchase. Sessions cannot be shared, split, or distributed among multiple persons.

7.3 Validity & Conditions

Session packages are subject to the same cancellation, rescheduling, and validity conditions as outlined in Section 4. All sessions within a package must be used within twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after the validity period will expire with no refund or credit.

8. Private Events & Corporate Bookings

8.1 Event Bookings

Private events and corporate team building sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. The scope, duration, number of participants, and pricing for each event will be agreed upon prior to confirmation. Full payment is required to confirm the booking.

8.2 Participant Numbers

The number of participants confirmed at the time of booking determines the final price. If additional participants wish to join on the day of the event, this will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges. If fewer participants attend than originally booked, no partial refund or credit will be issued for the absent participants.

8.3 Rescheduling of Events

Private events and corporate bookings are subject to the same rescheduling policy as outlined in Section 4.2. All event bookings are non-refundable and may be rescheduled within 12 months from the date of purchase, subject to availability.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, designs, videos, and course materials, is the property of Maison Terraē and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws of the UAE. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from the Site for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Maison Terraē.

10. Photography & Media

Maison Terraē may take photographs and videos during classes, workshops, and events for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on social media, the Site, and printed materials. By participating in any Maison Terraē activity, you consent to the use of your image and likeness in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform our staff prior to the start of the session, and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and all applicable data protection regulations. Personal information collected through the Site or during the booking process will only be used for the purpose of providing our services, processing payments, and communicating with you regarding your bookings. We will not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to process your payment through our secure payment provider (Stripe). 12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, Maison Terraē, its owners, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Force Majeure

Maison Terraē shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions or restrictions, civil unrest, power failures, or any other force majeure event. In such cases, Maison Terraē will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected sessions.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

15. Amendments

Maison Terraē reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms agreed upon for specific events or services, constitute the entire agreement between you and Maison Terraē with respect to your use of our services and the Site, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
